I am a mum of two children who are now both at high school. I have worked at Ellistown Primary School for five years, starting in the office as an administrator and then as Data Manager.
I have been clerk to the governors since February 2016, a job which I find very challenging but extremely rewarding.
My role as clerk is to support the governors in their effective governance of the school; producing, collating and distributing agenda papers and preparing accurate minutes to meetings. I also advise governors on procedural issues and governance legislation with the support of the Governor Development Service.
