Packed Lunches

We've received requests from parents seeking advice on what to include in their children's healthy packed lunches for school. To assist you, we've attached some helpful tips and guidance that we trust you will find beneficial.

As a friendly reminder, please ensure that packed lunches contain a healthy, well-balanced meal, sweets and fizzy drinks should not be included. Additionally, for the safety of all students, please remember that foods sent into school should be NUT FREE due to several children with severe allergies.  Chocolate spread is not permitted as some brands contain nuts and it is impossible to police which with so many children in the dinner hall. Any items labelled ‘may contain PEAnuts’ are also not allowed, but items labelled may contain nuts are permissible, as we are aware that most manufacturers now include this as a matter of course.
