What is ELSA?
ELSAs (Emotional Literacy Support Assistants) are specialist teaching assistants with a wealth of experience of working with children.
An ELSA is a warm and caring person who wants to help your child feel happy, their aim, with your support, is to build your child’s emotional development and help them cope with life’s challenges.
Please do talk to the Pastoral Team at school if you have any concerns about your child. From there, we can support to find the best way to help.

- Loss and bereavement
- Emotional literacy
- Self-esteem/self-concept
- Friendship
- Relationships
- Managing strong feelings
- Anxiety
- Conflict
- Emotional regulation
- Growth mindset
- Social skills
